Mobile search has grown by 400% since 2010 as more powerful devices and faster mobile internet connections have come about. Mobile has also been the driving force behind a renewed interest in UX as a discipline and we’re now seeing a high demand for specialist UX designers. For businesses, it’s important to understand that your customers are likely to be on mobile and as such, your website must be able to cope with mobile traffic. If you consider that 40% of people will abandon a website that takes more than a mere three seconds to load, then you go some way to understanding how much business you stand to lose if your site’s not up to scratch.
